Insights from AMBIZZION"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p><strong>As a consequence of Team AMBIZZION\u2019s focus on finding specialists and leaders through persistent search, the team dedicates significant resources to maintaining ongoing dialogue with potential candidates.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n<p>Inspired by a recently published analysis from IDA (find the link below), we have reflected on the reasons we have encountered in our candidate interactions regarding their desire and openness to changing jobs. We have identified a clear overlap in the three most significant reasons for job changes: lack of professional challenges, dissatisfaction with the immediate manager (i.e., dissatisfaction with leadership style), and limited career growth opportunities.<\/p>\n\n<p>However, we can also add that we have observed the same reasons in relation to commercial and administrative positions\u2014not just technical roles, which IDA\u2019s analysis primarily focuses on.<\/p>\n\n<p>Additionally, our experiences highlight a couple of other interesting factors\u2014regardless of whether they involve technical, commercial, or administrative candidates\u2014namely:<\/p>\n\n<p>\u2013 Another significant reason for wanting a job change is a misalignment between <strong>personal values<\/strong> and the company\u2019s values, particularly the workplace culture in which the candidate is expected to thrive. These trends apply to commercial, administrative, and technical positions alike.<\/p>\n\n<p>\u2013 That <strong>salary<\/strong> is not necessarily a primary driver for wanting a job change. However, candidates for commercial sales positions tend to place a greater emphasis on salary compared to those in technical and administrative roles.<\/p>\n\n<p>\u2013 That we have encountered candidates from larger companies who have experienced increasing specialization and <strong>a sense of detachment<\/strong> from their workplace. As a result, the employee has lost insight into the value of their contributions in relation to achieving the overall goal.
